The 2019 Benno Boost E is a modern beast of burden. This cargo e-bike has been designed and engineered to be the highest load capacity alternative to it's 2 ton, 4 wheeled, gas powered cousin. There are enough mounting points for dozens of practical configurations and accessories for anything between shopping for groceries, ferrying the kids to school, and loading up your surf-board for a day at the beach.
The engineers at Benno had the good wisdom to outfit their flagship cargo bike with one of the most reliable electric bike motors; The Bosch Performance Line. The powerful mid mounted drive motor sports 63Nm's of hill crunching torque allowing you to climb the steepest slopes even under maximum load. The Bosch 400Wh Powerpack has enough juice to keep this utilitarian e-bike doing all the heavy lifting for up to 120km / 75 miles between charges. With the included 4Ah rapid Bosch charger, you're looking at under 4 hours of downtime between a full recharge. There is also the option to upgrade to the Bosch Performance CX motor and Powerpack 500 battery combination for even more power and range.
With a top speed of 32 km/h (20 mph) and a maximum load capacity of 165lbs (75kg's) between the rear and optional front tray they Boost E will be able to carry everydays cargo needs with ease. Thanks to the Shimano Deore hydraulic oil disc brakes, braking is powerful and responsive. Combine this with the custom 24 x 2.6 inch Benno Dual Sport tires and you'll have enough cushion to absorb all that road energy, and more than enough surface area to grip the ground when coming to a stop.
